About Me

Welcome to Adam Howard PR.
If you’re looking to raise your brand’s profile, public relations is an effective tool for getting your message through to the right people via the media, at a fraction of the cost of traditional advertising.

Whether you’re looking for a short-term consultancy to boost in-house strategy, help with a launch project or a long term public relations programme, I can help.

I have over 14 years experience in PR having worked with agencies in London, Manchester and Leeds. My experience lies specifically in the home furnishings and lifestyle, residential and commercial property, licensed retail, professional services and leisure sectors, however during my career I’ve worked on campaigns ranging from mobile communications to chocolate, armed forces recruitment to office furniture.

How it works…
Typically the starting point for any project is ensuring that I immerse myself fully in your product or service, as well as your culture and business philosophy.

I’ll then develop a range of key messages with which to target your specific audience, whether they’re customers, investors or suppliers. I then develop a list of journalists and media that are best placed to reach them which may include newspapers, specialist trade press, glossy monthlies as well as TV and radio.

Now the work really begins. I’ll develop a plan of activity designed to spark the interest of key journalists. This will include writing and distributing press releases, talking to journalists, arranging interviews and scouring the news for relevant industry developments for your spokesperson to comment on.

No nonsense approach…
I believe in dealing in an open and transparent manner, and as well as receiving solid and robust advice, you’ll receive monthly activity and coverage reports, so you know exactly what I’ve been doing and what the results are.

In addition to offering media relations, Adam Howard PR can also offer press office / media enquiry handing, copy writing and speech writing.

I am happy to work on either a monthly retainer basis, an hourly or day rate, or on an ad-hoc project basis…so there’s a solution and a service for any budget or timescale.
