SAGE is the world's leading independent academic and professional publisher, with publishing offices in Los Angeles, London, New Delhi, Singapore, and Washington DC. We are in the process of launching a social network for the social sciences. The primary content for the site will be comissioned blog content from leading social scientists.

We require a freelancer to support the ongoing commissioning of content for this website. This will involve a)maintaining a database of contributors and contacting them for submissions b)watching for social science stories, reports or collateral on the web, and contacting those individuals for permission to re-use, and c)uploading some of that content to a Wordpress site.

Experience: familiarity with blogging and Wordpress are required. Experience with the academic publishing world, or scholarly research, would be a distinct advantage. Must be able to work from home and be a confident communicator. The terms of the contract will be reviewed after the first three months.
