What I need or require:
We are about to launch a new performance management/appraisal system. I need someone to research the size of the UK market place, particularly businesses up to 1000 employees, and be able to segment the size of the opportunities in each. We have markets that we are looking at which will advise the winner about. The other part of the project will be to look at potential competitors both UK based and internationally and provide a detailed analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of each one.

Other context/requirements that providers will need to know:
I would like to think that this person will be able to offer advise that we can use in the coming months and years around our market sectors. Therefore, we will be looking for someone that will be part of our extended marketing team moving forward.

Specific expertise that I am seeking:
I want someone who has researched software markets before and looked at competitors in this area. This person will nedd to talk to providers and get an undersatnding of price points and be able to offer impartial feedback on the good and bad providers.

Timeframe:
Needs to be completed within the next 10 days ideally
