Overall Job Purpose is to provide media relations support to the consumer PR Manager and corporate communications manager with a large telecommunications organisation.

Key Accountabilities - Press office management- Media monitoring. - Management and maintenance of press office website.- Producing media coverage books and board reports.- Ensuring media highlights are regularly uploaded onto the intranet and circulated around the business.

- Assistance with event management, venue sourcing, logistics etc Education and Work Experience - Media relations background desirable
- Strong writing skills
- Needs to be able to demonstrate good organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
- Knowledge of social media desirable
- Attention to detail
- Ability to communicate with senior and director level management with confidence, discretion and competence
- Systematic and thorough approach to all tasks with a real sense of ownership
- Good telephone manner with the ability to build relationships with media on the phone
