We are working with a great PR and communications agency in Gloucestershire, who has a client who is a global health care company that is keen to establish better and more effective relationships with the clinical and professional health and medical media in individual European Countries.

Initially the brief is focusing on France, Germany and the Netherlands. The strategic focus and public relations activity programme is determined by the client’s EMEA headquarters in Belgium and co-ordinated throughout Europe.

The freelance roles will involve tactical activity including translating press releases from and articles from English, placing articles and features, liaising with the media and providing feedback and the opportunity for inputting into features and forthcoming editorial opportunities.

The roles require national language fluency in French, German or Dutch and established and ongoing contact with the health and medical media. Previous experience within the healthcare environment is essential.

You can be based in England, France, Germany or Holland, or any other European country where you have good contacts and access to the relevant press and media in the countries menioned above. You must obviously be fluent in both English and at least one of the other languages, and be able to demonstrate your skills in translation as well as those of working with the relevant media.
