Account Executive who is a confident media coverage genearator with great copywriting skills and a sound knowledge of the news and business agenda generally is needed by this leading PR agency based in Brighton.
You will be drafting press releases, developing great media relations skills, liaising with clients, contributing to new business pitches and preparing presentations.
You need to have a confident telephone manner, be able to "sell" stories to journalists, have good contacts in the media, and excellent writing skills are essential.
1-2 years experience of generating and securing high profile coverage for clients and experience of copywriting for a range of business audiences are essential skills for this role.
Experience of working with B2B, property or technology clients would be very useful, but is not essential.

I am a journalist with PR experience, based in Brighton, the location of the above agency. I specialise in energy, utilities and telecoms writing, PR and events management.
